Shipping Costs: Prices of items on the web site do not include shipping costs which will be added to each order. We pass through the carrier's exact shipping and insurance charges. We do not add packaging or handling charges.
Preferred Carriers: While we have preferred carriers as indicated below, we accommodate customer requests for an alternate carrier or shipping service.
Pens - United States: We prefer to ship via UPS Ground insured. For Post Office Boxes we prefer USPS Priority Mail insured.
Pens - Worldwide: We prefer to ship via USPS Express Mail International Insured or via USPS Priority Mail Insured.
Non-Pen Items: For small quantities of items such as protective tubes and display trays, we prefer USPS Priority Mail. For larger quantities, we prefer UPS insured.
Catalogs: Hard copies of Catalogs are sent via USPS First Class Mail or USPS First Class Mail International.
Ownership of Goods: The ownership of goods is transferred to the customer upon shipment.
Import Duty: We do not assess duty for an international order and international orders are subject to applicable customs, import duties and taxes, which are the sole responsibility of the customer. Please contact your local customs office for details.
Lost Shipments: If a shipped order is lost or damaged, the shipper (ie. FedEx; UPS; USPS) must conduct an investigation. Please contact us to initiate a tracer within 10 business days of the item shipping. If the package is not located, the shipper will process a claim for the package. Claims take a minimum several weeks to process. When the carrier accepts responsibility for the loss or damage of your item(s), insurance reimbursement will be issued to us and replacement items will be shipped to you. If an item is no longer available, and a similar item is not wanted, we will gladly refund your payment to the extent of the reimbursement received.
Damaged Shipments: If an order is received damaged, a claim must be initiated and finalized before customer compensation or product replacement is executed. You must contact us within five business days of delivery. Please hold onto your shipping box as the shipper or our insurance company may want to inspect it. See "Lost Shipments" above for more information about the claims and reimbursement processes.
Discrepancies: When your order is received, if there are any noticeable discrepancies with your item, or if the item is not what was ordered, please contact us within 5 days of receipt of your shipment to make any necessary corrections.
Insurance: If the shipping carrier and/or our insurance company rejects a claim for loss or damage, there will be no reimbursement made to the customer. If insurance is not purchased for your shipment, there will be no reimbursement for loss or damage. If partial insurance is purchased, and the claim is honored, reimbursement will be made only to the extent of the insurance purchased.
